Roboflow visual intelligence Workshop

June 17 @ 19:00 21:00

Roboflow is a perfect tool to help you train AI and build visual applications.

Thomas Jongstra has developed a nice Roboflow guide for the participants, before we stat using it,  Laura Ponoran will share her experience working with Thomas’ Roboflow documentation to develop her own DIY object detection project designed to detect fat bikes, an increasingly relevant issue given their rise in both
popularity and safety concerns. With this example, she highlights how accessible object detection systems have become, even for independent users.
Laura Ponoran is an AI, Data, and Smart City Research Intern at TAPP, a Smart City Architecture firm. She has previously collaborated with LosAparatos and NDSM on different sensing and awareness projects grappling with modern day problems.

For Tom van Arman from TAPP, civic sousveillance was the motivating use case to start using Roboflow, they used it to create a cameradetection app: https://www.tapp.nl/project-overview/civic-sousveillance. He, Thomas and Laura will help you start your own project!

To prepare please make an account on https://roboflow.com/ and check this video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a3SBRtILjPI) for inspiration to come up with your own usecase to work on during the workshop (don’t forget to prepare and bring training material as well as your laptop;-)

De workshop is in het Engels maar we spreken ook Nederlands!
