Not sure what to work on when joining our meetups? Not everyone has a (art)project in mind, or a concrete need like wanting to 3D print a replacement part. Know that you’re always welcome to just take a look and have a chat. But it really is nicer when you also start creating something yourself, so here are some tips.
Please note that we don’t provide a course, we do help each other out, do some coaching, have some tutorials, but you’re expected also to look online yourself for answers so that people with more experience in a certain field also have time to work on their own projects.
DIY Projects for beginners

As you can see from the picture we have several kits donated by Jolien & Hans, to learn how to Do It Yourself in a fun way, and you can even take the result home!
Karijn, our beginners coach, created a starterkit that allows you to gradually acquire all the necessary basic knowledge and skills.
If you’ve found your way around basic electronics you can try the Sensemakers LCD Kit, which aims to bridge the gap between starter projects and intermediate projects. It covers I2C communication and pullup resistors.
