Purpose of joint projects:
- Learning to DIY apply technology within socially relevant domains (from sensor -> relevant data in dashboard);
- Develop skills related to logical reasoning; how do you get from a problem through experiments to an approach/solution;
- Contributing to knowledge about and the development of affordable tools;
- Shared best practices, instructables and teaching material
At this moment we are collaborating with partner organisations on:
- Amsterdam Sounds (classifying types of sound pollution)
- Astroplant (growing plants in space, but also at home 🙂
- Drinkable Rivers (water quality)
- Marineterrein Living Lab
- MijnOmgeving (water quality)
We also look for cooperation to do more projects at the Marineterrein Living Lab area, like the Waterbuoy project we did there before and our investigations on the influence of heavy rain on sewer overflow (and with that on bacteria in the swimming water).
